Emergency Response Certification (ER Cert)
Initiative of the EMCoP, launched in 2025 at AFAC. An industry led professionalisation of emergency workers in the WA resources sector.
The EMCoP engaged Australian Institute of Health & Safety (AIHS) to design and deliver this industry first certification program.
Emergency Services Skills Assessment (ESSA)
Abbreviated Verification of Competency (VoC) style practical assessment targetted on five (5) of the core disciplines benchmarked by the EMCoP cohort.
2025 Edition: Breathing Apparatus, Fire Team Operations, Vertical and Road Crash Rescue and Medical.
